UPPU KAALAVA

THE BUCKINGHAM CANAL WAS FIRST DUG FOR A SHORT STRETCH IN 1877 (8km)linking cooum and adyar rivers.in 1878 the complete buckingham canal was done.It was named after THE duke of BUCKINHAM WHO FIRST ORDERED IT
