Aditya's first music recital

Aditya's class had their first recital today and here are the videos. Two requests to the readers:
1) Aditya was promised a reward based on unbiased rating by each blog reader of his performance compared to the class, so please provide comments.
2) Any one who knows tamil translate the songs?? (Nanna? Maadhav?)
Note: There was one other kid remote from New Jersey and there is a little lag from him, so wait a few seconds for the singers to get synced up for the group songs. Also, I failed to record the 4th kid's solo.

1. The teacher looks good and has a good voice. She sang well and I thought she went off key once or twice but may be I am mistaken.

2. The kid has filled out a little, probably all that Indian food is doing him good.

3. He sang with an open, free voice. The others were a little inhibited and didnot reach the required high pitch in many places. In the last song, they came good.

4. Aditya has sung well. He is going off key (Thalam) occasionally--only occasionally. He is hurrying a little when he is reaching for a higher Sruthi and Sthayi. eg: in Pahi Ramachandra.

5. He deserves 85% and as he grows and matures, I think he will reach much higher. HE is the best of the lot.

Gowri concurs.

92/100.verygood with scope for improvement, which is going to inevitably occur.
He could be a little bit softer with thalam.

Very confident and energetic rendition. Given his age, a very good performance. Good show Adi.
