De-evolution

BT vankaya vanti koorayu
pankajamukhi Madonna vanti bhaaryamaniiyun
Bill Gates vanti daivamu
Saddamudi vairi vanti rrajunu kalare.
it is an unbridled, unwaranted, blind APING of the west that our country is going through now(apes are physilogically and anatomically near humans. so the experiments are on the gullible lot)
Yesterday, I was startled to watch a couple of kids of the age of Aditya (a boy and a girl) exchanging handshakes calling each other "darling" on the occasion of valentines day.
On the deceitful pretext of hgh yields, these genetcally modified crops are cropping up now.
It s a myth.
Our country is accoladed for its philosophy of simple living ,high thinking and austerity. This so called development is not real.
Man should live in harmony with nature, not defying it.
IT brought economical "doom" but B.T will bring "dont know what."
The slogan now must be "save mankind but not earth". Earth has gone through many a tumult and survived.
Unless the mankind awakens soon, humans will face the doom of what dinosaurs had faced.
I do not know whether a word like de-evolution exists but what we are going through now is certainly the reverse of evolution.

Well said, Pinni. Unbridled American style consumerism is certainly the path we have chosen. As Arundathi Roy says in 'Listening to Grasshoppers', her latest book:

"The most successful secessionist struggle ever waged in India — the secession of the middle and upper classes to a country of their own, somewhere in the stratosphere where they merge with the rest of the world’s elite”.
