If Obama wins, which seems to be the most likely outcome, US will have its first "Black" president. If McCain wins, US will have its first woman vice president.
Well! It has taken a long time for the biggest democracy in the world to evolve to this stage. But of course, it is a young nation. We, though have been independent for the last 60 yrs only, are a country with a long history. we have had minority presidents, woman president, minority PMs, woman PM,Speakers of all hues and there is no need to talk of our armed forces or judiciary or administration or our scintific pool. It all comes from the fact that we are a very tolerant people and respect everyone. That is INDIA for you.
