Reading this news item on CNN today about the 17 year old kid with Progeria(remember the hindi movie Paa) who died this week..

How much money do you spend on research for rare diseases when millions are dying of other illnesses?? For example, Progeria affects  <200 adulthood="" div="" good="" greater="" is="" kids="" lives="" more="" nbsp="" never="" of="" people="" see="" than="" the="" these="" ut="" who="" will="" worldwide.="" worth="">

An ethical dilemma with no blacks or whites, just lots of shades of gray.......

This blog seems to be falling into evil days.
More because the regular contributors have shut shop and the younger elements believe more in FB than this. ( Correction-even FB does not seem to hold fascination--WHAT are they doing these days?)
Where is SRN with his anecdotes?
Why can't SGK write about "what the well dressed man is wearing" or some such piece?
